The Fauxrero Rocher

but really, tastes just like the real thing. the melt in your mouth, chocolatey goodness you never knew you needed. get on it:

1/2C cacao powder

1/4C melted coconut oil

1/4C maple syrup

1/3C + 8 roasted hazelnuts (without the skin, the 8 extra are for the middle of the truffle)

1tsp vanilla bean paste (or extract)

2tbs almond flour + 1tbs coconut flour (ran out of almond so i used coconut)

2tbs nutella (i used homemade)

8oz melted chocolate

crushed roasted peanuts to top

put the first 6 ingredients in the food processor and blend til combined. it should form a big ball. roll 8 medium balls and place them on a plate, put your thumb in the middle and press down lightly, creating a little hole. throw in a hazelnut to each truffle and pour a few drops of nutella. close the truffle using your fingers and then roll them into balls once again. put in the fridge for about 20 minutes and meanwhile, melt the chocolate. once cooled, get the truffles from the fridge and cover them in chocolate. add the crushed peanuts on top and TAKE A BITE. let me know what you think. these honestly might be my favorite dessert i’ve ever made. they’re LEGIT.
