DIY Ramen

i’ve been on a ramen kick for the past couple weeks. i usually buy mine from a local spot buuut i wanted to recreate this just for YOU! it’s insanely good but the best part is; this has so many healing properties: seaweed - rich in iodine which is great for thyroid health, oyster mushroom - boosts immune system, anti cancer and anti tumor. bone broth - heals the gut, promotes healthy joints, boosts brain health. intriguing right?! i seriously love looking at food as medicine for the body.

do it: make noodles as directed on package. i used ramen, drain the water and place noodles in a bowl. heat up your bone broth, i used springbone (my absolute favorite but you can totally use any brand) and throw in the mushrooms so they cook in the broth. in a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add the egg. let it boil for about 6 minutes and run cold water over the egg to let it cool. peel the egg and cut it in half. once the broth is hot, pour it in the bowl with your already cooked noodles, mushrooms and egg. add seaweed, i used seaweed salad mix and hot sauce for a nice lil kick. i love recreating ALL types of foods using simple and real ingredients. this is what fuels me 🍜
