Comfy but Make it Fashion

weekly uniform - anything comfy that can be machine washed 👊🏽 i’ve always had a pretty relaxed vibe and basics are my go-to’s.

before meeting aj, i would “dress up” meaning i’d wear jeans and sometimes heels too. i worked at barneys ny so i was around a ton of fancy clothes. i was living at home so my budget to buy things was endless (sup credit cards).

after getting laid off from barneys and then getting married, i lived in activewear similar to now but i’d even sleep with my sports bra on 😂 i had early classes to teach so that was my why.

after kids, i found comfortability in athleisure/casual wear. i love buying pieces i can wear over and over and over.. so a lot of the time i wanna make sure it’s quality. there are a lot of brands i love - some are pricey, some aren’t. i love incorporating variety. second hand stores and sustainable options are awesome too.

favorite brands:

the great - for the perfect pullovers and tees. they last YEARS, machine wash friendly, can dress up or down.

monrow - comfy but SO cute looks. i love their basic tees, shorts, pants, everything they make is pretty rad.

madewell - so many options for any occassion! one stop shop and different variety of clothes.

adidas - this is my bread and butter. they have a selection of not only workout gear but also, everyday wear. love their shorts and comfy sweatpants, i can easily dress them with a cute tee or oversized sweater and call it a look!

redone - their jeans are my absolute favorite. yes, they’re pricey but to splurge once in a while is a treat. especially for denim that’ll last years to come.

brandy melville- cheap basics

belen - elevated basics

cotton citizen - more comfies, their long sleeve crops are my favorite.

mate the label - essentials made with non toxic organic materials.

this is my ‘i know i’ll be rocking avocado, chocolate and pb stains on my left shoulder later’ LOOK.
