Butter + Salt Pancakes

one of my favorite doughnut shops has a butter + salt doughnut and you can only imagine how legit it is.. so naturally i made this remake a while back but in pancake form. whipped them up this morning and it’s the only way i’ll eat pancakes ever. do yourself a favor and thank me later 🙋🏻‍♀️

3/4 C all purpose flour (all i had on hand. you can sub whatever you’d like)

in a medium bowl, whisk dry ingredients first and then add the wet until the batter is smooth. turn on your skillet at medium and butter it up. i used 1/4 cup to make my cakes and it made 5 medium sized pancakes. crispy on the outside and soft/delicious on the inside. you must add these toppings tho: butter, salt and maple syrup. so ridiculously good and the kids loved them.

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tbs hemp seeds

1/2 C cashew milk

1 egg

1 tbs melted butter + more for cooking and topping

a few pinches of salt (i used maldon salt for flaky goodness)

maple syrup for topping
